I went to the Doctors on Tuesday because I found a lump in my left breast doctor referred me a hospital appointment for Friday gone for a Monaghan turns out left breast perfectly fine but found something in my right breast after numerous Monaghan in 3D I had to have a biopsy too and was given my follow up appointment straight away a week Tuesday at the hospital I'm actually believing the doctors know there is something wrong, I'm just crying and can't pull myself together I have a 16year old son who I've hid it all from. I just can't help but think they know something is wrong with receiving another appointment straight away.

    Hi andrea

    i was referred for 2WW appointment which was on 19th July and I had three biopsies. The doctor I saw told me results take 1 to 2 weeks and I would get an appointment for 26 July or more likely 2 august because the team have a weekly meeting to discuss the results when they get them. Sure enough it was set for 2 august But they changed my appointment to 9 august due to staff sickness. So try not to imagine the worst just because they gave you your appointment straightaway. They probably knew how long the results would take in your area and when their MDT would meet to discuss any treatment necessary. 
    it's a good idea to take someone with you (partner or friend) for support and to make notes for you. Just as well my appointment was changed as my partner got Covid and wouldn't have been able to come with me on the 2nd.

    will be thinking of you (is it next Tuesday, 16th?) and praying all will be fine. In the meantime try to keep busy and stay away from Dr Google. He is not your friend!
