As you say, finding out you have cancer can be very scary and I'm sure you're contending with a lot of emotions at the moment, but our community are here for you and will do all they can to support you on this journey.

I've been having a look through the forum and found [@Lisaire]‍ posted about having carcinoid lung cancer back in January and were due to have surgery. They haven't been back on the forum since then but I have tagged them in this post for you and will have my fingers crossed they are able to return and share their experiences and advice.

Hopefully some of our other members that I may have missed during my search will pick up on your post as well but if you'd like to discuss any of of this with one of our cancer nurses, you can contact them on 0808 800 4040. I'm in same boat, heart scan picked up lung nodule and I'm booked in for a lobectomy soon.

my worries are infection as my dad died of mrsa sepsis last year and pain,

i have fibromyalgia and I was very poorly after my bronchoscopy. I'm dreading the op, I've got bad anxiety anyway.
