Hello, have they mentioned what it could be at all? Have you had any other symptoms like feeling tired? Speaking from experience, I think it's really important that you get this looked at sooner. If you can afford it, it might be an idea to get a scan completed privately if the wait time is shorter. Then even if it is benign, at least your mind will have been put at ease sooner. 

Hi! No he didn't say anything apart from he isn't worried about it, which wasn't very reassuring. Didn't mention anything it could be, he said he thinks it could just be my muscle!, I havent done anything strenuous!.

I have no pain in my neck just a dull ache, and if my head is down for a little while my neck has a full/ tight feeling
