Underarm lump

Hey,

So I check myself regularly, like monthly, for lumps. On Monday of this week I found a lump in my armpit. I've had armpit cysts before which are always painful. This lump isn't painful at all. I haven't been to see my GP yet because, quite honestly, I'm scared.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found a lump. It's understandable that you're feeling scared however this lump could be caused by any number of things. The important thing is to make an appointment with your GP who will be best placed to examine you and arrange any tests or referrals if needs be. 

    Give your GP surgery a call on Monday morning and get that appointment booked. Hopefully the GP will be able to give you some reassurance when you see them.

    I had an underarm lump that was a lymph node eventually had it removed and it was benign. I hope you have similar outcome
