You did the right thing to go back and forth to the GP and to push for tests. It's good news that they are now doing the necessary investigations.I can understand why finding out you had a raised CA125 has made you anxious but try not anticipate the worst. As mentioned on our website on this page, "CA125 can also be raised for other reasons that are not related to cancer". 

It won't be long now until your scan and all you can do for now is wait which is the hardest thing. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I know it's tempting to read everything and we all do it, but it will only make you feel more anxious so try and keep well away from the unreliable Dr Google. There are helpful tips on this page to help you cope while waiting for important news.
