Hi, I'm 50 went to the doctors about menopause, ended up getting full bloods and stool samples taken after I mentioned change in bowel habits and extreme exhaustion, also bloating. So I got a phone call yesterday to say that my stool sample markers showed high for bowel cancer, and I'm absolutely terrified. I am now awaiting a colonoscopy appointment, can the stool test be something else. I definitely had no blood in my samples or ever as I do check. Thank you in advance. I don't want to share this with family atm x
