Hi, is it normal to wait for someone's biopsy results longer than 10 days? My husband had his biopsy done on the 8th of July and we are still waiting. Does that mean bad news? Seriously I'm freaking out.
I would give the hospital a ring and find out what is happening. I waited longer than 10 days but that was because the results weren't back in time for the mdt meeting, so had to wait for the next one. Xx
I've been waiting for biopsy results for 8 weeks. There's apparently a lack of histologists at the moment, and coupled with the backlogs this is resulting in longer waiting times.
