So I am in a bit of a limbo at the moment. I've been having midcycle bleeding, pain and bleeding during and after sex. I booked a drs appointment which was telephone. She then booked me in for an examination. She took a swab for infections which came back negative. However and this is where I'm after advice. Although there was a lot of blood she managed to see some of my cervix which she noted had a mass was protruding out of my cervix. She also said that my cervix appearance is the same as cervical cancer. I've been referred as a 2 week cancer referral for a gynae appointment and internal scan. That was a week and half ago I've got my scan booked for tomorrow but not gynae appointment has been booked yet. I've tried chasing it but keep being told they will ring with a last minute appointment. Did anyone else get diagnosed like this. Last time I was bleeding heavy for 2 weeks, which thankfully has stopped for now. I'd really appreciate anyone who had similar symptoms or way of diagnosising giving some advice as to what I am about to face.
