small world! I am the same hospital and waiting on same results!!!

i went last Friday for my breast appointment and had my biopsy taken. The consultant told me i would either get a phonecall or appointment following today's MDT..I then got a text on weds advising me i had an appointment next weds (27th) which I can't make as i'm on holiday. I rang appointments today and they said the breast nurse had emailed them today giving me an appointment on the 5th August. I would give appointments a call. The appointments lady told me today that they always give results by appointment now . Xx

Hi, wow really it is a small world ha! thank you for getting back to me. I have phoned them up at dinner time and she said the meeting usually finishes at dinner so she would think I would call this afternoon as it says appointment is 22nd July. It's the waiting that's so worrying, I'd just rather know either way. The letter I got sent has confused me, I will give them another ring and see what they say xx

Yes just ask them. I asked them about the text message i got and she said it was a standard follow up appointment. Although the fact the breast nurse has asked today that  i come in after my holiday suggests they want to see me about something that has popped up in my biopsy.

Just a quick up- I had a call this morning and it was a benign lump, thabk god. What an emotional roller coaster, hope you get some answers this week x 

That's good to hear! I have an appointment next week which suggests they need to take some action on mine. I have a holiday to go on first though so putting it to the back of my mind x

Hi there Sarah, I had biopsies done September last year and then went to Rhodes on holiday for a week. I have to say I did manage to put it to the back of my mind and really enjoyed it. I just kept thinking I can't do anything at this point so just get on and enjoy it.

we are going away in a few week back to Rhodes as I have now completed all my treatment so this time it's a extra special treat and I am gonna bloody enjoy it!
