breast puckering - still concerned after all clear

So I noticed that when I lift my arm my right breast has slight indentation at the bottom - almost making it look flat, but was difficult to see. I've been to the doctor who said she could potentially feel a 'pea-sized' lump so got referred to the breat clinic. The doctor there couldn't feel a lump but I got an ultrasound anyway. They found nothing on the ultrasound after both a student nurse and nurse checked it. However they couldn't offer me any other reason as to why my breast puckering has occurred and just sent me on my way giving me the all clear. It is still very much there (although hasn't change at all) and I'm sure it hasn't always been like that. I'm worried that there is a lump but it's just too early/small to feel or see on the scans. I just can't shake the feeling that something isn't right.

I'm not sure what to do and I might be overthinking it. Has anyone else been in a similar position? What do people suggest I do?

  • Hi cjibs

Similar thing happened to me when I was referred to clinic in March this year. I was given the all clear after examination and mammogram due to breast pain on left and inverted nipple/changes.
i have worried ever since so been referred back to clinic with appointment on 3rd August. I know myself something isn't right.

get yourself referred back if you are still worrying about this. I have tortured myself since March so please don't let time go on,

    take care

  • Hi Pauline

Thanks for your reply, I know how you feel. I just cannot get it out of my head. Did you just contact your gp again to get another clinic appointment? I feel like another check and a mammogram would settle me as I didn't get this last time!

  • Hi cjibs

I spoke to my GP and he agreed to refer me as I told him how much I was stressed with worry.
I've had a terrible day today and had pain in my nipple all afternoon.

let me know how you get on x
