99% it’s skin cancer

Hi everyone,

I posted a pic a few days ago (got removed as was unaware that it's not allowed - have a habit of not reading through guidelines!)

Anyway, I've always had a small 'dot' on my back, but ever since I came back from holiday, and after suffering from a. sunburn that blistered on my ankles, it has almost tripled in size and has formed this tumor like lump. Originally, it the lump was black, but it must have been a scab/crust as it fell off last night and revealed what the lump actually looks like.

It is shiny, red and firm. Almost like a fleshy growth type of appearance.

Has anyone else had this or similar and what was the eventual outcome?

Many thanks!

  • Hello James_SAFC,

Don't worry at all about the picture - easily done! I hope you get some answers soon from the specialists as to what this lump might be and that you will hear from the experiences of some of our forum members who have had something similar before.

Keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing of concern.

    Best wishes,
