Missing polyp

I had  a colonoscopy nearly 3 months ago where they found a at least 18mm sessile serrated lesion edges not defined. It was tattooed. 

so had a follow up today to have removed, they couldn't find it!

So abandoned and booked in for another colonoscopy in 6 months. 
my question which results would you more likely trust. I don't know whether be happy and relieved or concerned

    I'm sorry they couldn't find the polyp during your follow up the other day. It's completely understandable to have mixed feelings about this and to not know what to make of the conflicting results. 

    As your next colonoscopy is in 6 months time, it may be worth talking things through with your GP whilst you wait. You're also welcome to discuss what has happened with one of our nurses on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

    Hopefully some of our members will offer their input and advice to you soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed this can get resolved at your next appointment.
