I presume you are aware of the Crohns and Colitis UK site in case you want to read up on anything or write down some questions before you go. They also have a nurse helpline, which will complement this site.

When we were at gastroenterology we saw the Professor (most senior doctor) and he did explain what all the biopsies were looking for. Only it was too long ago for me to remember, sorry!

For us, there were additional diagnoses aside from the polyps. I found myself doing a lot of research to understand things.
