Hi, I found a lump underneath the skin near my bum cheek/hip area right near my sciatic nerve. I've been to the gp and they have referred me for a scan. The lump is around 2cm and quite tender. It's actually causing quite a bit of discomfort and feels like a pinched nerve/sciatica. I'm absolutely terrified that it is liposarcoma. I've cried all day and cannot function, I suffer badly with anxiety anyway. Has anyone else had any experience with this sort of lump? I've got no other symptoms, just the lump which I found accidentally when scratching my back.
