I’m kind of embarrassed to be posting here but I’m literally going out of my mind . I’ve always been on the constipated side , I vary rarely have loose bowels . I’ve had 4 c sections and also another abdominal op so I do have scaring and adhesions . This past 6 months the constipation has ramped up to worrying levels . I went to see a gastroenterologist who said it was Ibs, possible scar tissue issues and prescribed me movicol and fybergel. I do have a bit of a rubbish diet . 
Next week I am seeing her again . So far the investigations I have had are a stomach X-ray , a ct and an mri of the abdo and pelvis. Calrotectin stool tests and blood tests and a c125 test . All these tests found were an ovarian cyst and some uncomplicated diverticulosis in the left side of my bowel .
Everything else was normal Plus the mri showed that the adhesions from surgeries were tethered to my bladder . My symptoms are constipation , always feeling like there is more to come out , left sided pain that’s kind of in the kidney area and weeing all the time!! 
Should I push for more tests or would the tests that I have had done be enough?  … the dr told me that the ct and mri especially are reliable but my brother said the only sure way is a colonoscopy. I am so scared of having that done! 
I’m so worried , I just trying to prepare for my appointment next week so any advice would be very appreciated. 
I have no weight loss , no visible blood in my stools and pain is minimal , just niggles every now and again on that left side which I guess could be anything.
