I've had post coital bleeding & pelvic pain for over 6 months now. My gp referred me for a scan, to rule out polyps & fibroids - which it did. My cervix looked ok on examination in December & swabs all clear. As all tests were ok I was referred to gynae, but told it's at least a year wait.
My symptoms have been worsening, bleeding a lot every time I have sex now & very severe pain daily, so I went back to my gp this week. She could see a patch/lesion on my cervix, she said it's not consistent with an erosion & with my worsening symptoms & the patch being new, she's referred me for an urgent colposcopy on the 2ww pathway.
I'm very nervous, but trying to stay calm.
