Hi,
I'm so confused and maybe someone can help me or maybe I just need to talk about it....
It all started a 3 months ago Ii had apparently a normal chest infection, but after 3 antibiotics my gp decided to do x ray and blood test. X ray came up with a shadow and blood results high platelets counts, rdw high, white blood cells high, neutrophils high, bilirubin none exists, crp high, serum immunoglobulin high and serum creatinine high (95)?, Dr said blood results are ok, last was done one month ago?
Back to chest xray, got sent to fast track referral to hospital, thoracic medicine, had ct scan confirmed Pneumonia on left lung. Dr also told me they found on my ct scan my supraclavicular lymph node on left side enlarged. My pneumonia got treated but got told I needed a biopsy and ultrasound on my lymph node. I got an appointment 5 days after I got told, very fast. I went to my biopsy and ultrasound appointment, very scared and and anxious. And had the ultrasound but the man doing it looked so much around my neck asked me if I had any operation on my throat, said no?, he didn't do any checks on my left shoulder where the swollen lymph node is and said to me he doesn't understand why 'm doing this ultra scan and he looked at my scan, not sure which one he talked about? and said he couldn't see anything? I was so onfused, and walked outside the hospital to sit down what happened...how can a specialist team be wrong from the ct scan? I don't understand why he ultra scan my throat and not my left shoulder? And he was so rude, like it was my fault I had he scan and used up he's time? Does anyone know how big a normal size supraclavicular lymph node is? I know I need to speak to my doctor, but I had two cancer scares . If everything is fine , that's good but I'm still so confused. Sorry for a very confusing message.
