Hi. Iv noticed for the past 2 to 3 weeks my bowel movements are one day pencil thin and the next day diaherea.  Sometimes I feel I'm pushing to empty my bowels. Some days I feel bloated. After eating I notice I have grumbling noise at the lower end of my stomach. Not very loud though ( near to the bum ) . Dr google is causing my anxiety to high levels. Has anyone else had these symptoms?  I have appointment with an advance nurse next week.  Should I be worried?

    You were right Margaret, i went for colonscopy on Monday and was diagnosed with divertculosis, which would explain the blood in stool...

    Hi i never got to see my doctor & still haven't..once the qfit was done i was red flagged for a colonscopy. I waited four weeks on the procedure. I was told straight away what i had but i still haven't heard a word from my doctor. The colonscopy was fine, i never took the sedation. It took around 30 mins from start to finish. I had a good experience, i hope yours goes well. Thank you at least i know now what is wrong with me & it wasn't my imagination....

    I had a SIGMOIDOSCOPY in January 2019 - I already knew that I had piles,they said I had 3rd degree and that was where the blood was coming from. They also found 2 sessile polyps,largest of which was 3mm. Was told that I needed a full COLONOSCOPY - I cancelled it ! I am absolutely terrified to have a COLONOSCOPY - reading what other people have said re their experience.
