The hospital phoned me two days before my diagnosis of thyroid cancer to ask me to have the ultrasounds forwarded to them. I had an ultrasound of my neck and then a biopsy, had an appointment for the Wednesday after the biopsy to get the results and they called on Monday, to ask could I have a copy of the ultrasound forwarded to them. Then two days later, I got the result of the biopsy.

So it could be something like that, that they just need some extra bit of information or something.

Thank you so much for replying! I'm just very nervous for my mum, and whether that means she's got cancer again, hopefully it is just extra information needed.
