Confused about need for Second breast biopsy

Hi all

im feeling really confused and fed up tonight. I went for a breast clinic appointment two weeks ago after finding a lump. During the mammogram and ultrasound they there was nothing to worry about in the area I felt, but they found another small lump which they were concerned about.

I had 2 biopsies taken and went back today for the result. I'm not very good at uncertainty so I just wanted to know either way. But they said what they found in the biopsies was just normal breast tissue. They are now concerned they missed the lump completely and so are booking me in for an X-ray guided vacuum assisted biopsy where they said they will try and take out the whole lump and test it.

the thing I don't understand is... is there a chance that they didn't miss the lump? Can something which looks abnormal on a mammogram, and as a definate abnormality on a ultra sound, just be breast tissue? Or is that not possible, in which case I should still be worried?

I am just feeling very confused and fed up tonight. I'm getting married in 3 weeks and it's really hanging over me when I should be enjoying planning the last bits of the wedding. I just want to know either way. If it is cancer they said it's small so I know it will be ok. I just want to know but not right before the wedding. Just got to keep my Fingers crossed they get me in quick for this next one. He said he would put it as urgent and I've just Got to wait for a call.

anyway don't really know why I'm posting this other than just to get it out of my head, and maybe someone else has experienced similar.
