Worried it’s colon cancer

Hi! 
 

I am 26 and have had loose stools for months. I go 4-5 times a day and have so much wind. Other times I feel like I haven't emptied it all out and I have trapped wind. I get upper left quadrant pain regularly too. 
 

I do have a gp appointment next week about it all but it's now 00:31 again and I can't sleep. I have 3 young children and I can't help but think the worst. 
 

I really don't know what to do. I'm not asking to be convinced it's not cancer because I know there's always a chance but has anyone had symptoms like this and it not been cancer?

    It is highly unlikely to be cancer. I had rectal bleeding, weight loss and most of the symptoms you have (though 4-5 times a day is normal for me, so that one didn't worry me) and the specialist said that as I was only 40 at the time, yes, cancer was possible, but it was "the least likely of all the options" and I'd be "the unluckiest person in the world" if it turned out to be that.

    Yeah, like you say, it's not possible for any of us to say you don't have cancer, there is that one in a hundred chance, but honestly, the odds are probably even lower than that.
