Hi all,

I have found a large lump in my breast about 3.5cm which seemed to appear all of a sudden. It is hard, movable and not causing any pain. I'm 43 and had a hysterectomy last year due to cancer cells.

I went to GP who has referred me to the breast clinic next week but was wanting to know if the sudden appearance of the lump is normal?

I'm very worried as I'm a single mum with no family and don't want to speak to friends about it just yet.
