We had a 2 week wait between her "it's probably cancer" appointment and biopsies, to her being told officially.

I would be lying if i said i could remember if it was via post or phone. That particular time was a whirlwind, as you will know yourself. Good luck. The waiting is by far the worst of the worst mentally.

When I had a mammogram last year they called me back 2 weeks later for another mammogram, she did a biopsy at the same time and told me she was 100% positive it was breast cancer and if the biopsy came back clear she was doing another , that's how convinced she was , yes it was breast cancer  :-( .

I had a CT scan done almost 4 weeks ago and still hadn't had the results so I phoned them today , they wouldn't give me the results and said I was being referred to the oncologist who would go through the results with me .

Surely that can't ve good news  :-(

So now I'm waiting in this world where waiting times have gotten ridiculous for a referral to the oncologist.

Time always seems to drag when awaiting test results.  I've just had a 'phone call arranging an appointment for next week with a breast surgeon.  I'll get the biopsy results then.  I hope everything goes ok for you x

Thanks for asking.  I was diagnosed with early stage invasive ductal carcinoma.  I had a lumpectomy last week and am now waiting to see an Oncologist who'll arrange radiotherapy.  I've to start taking an aromatase inhibitor because I'm post menopausal but to have a dexa scan first.   I hope you don't have much longer to wait for your appointment.  Please let me know how you get on x
