Two weeks ago I found a lump that was swollen and hard and pain and discharge from my nipple piercing so took it out. Doctor examined it and said aw I see what u mean! Doctor referred me to breast specialist. Returned home and same day breast unit called booked me in for Tuesday . Which was three days ago. Specialist doctor said cyst,infection or abscess then told me to wait outside the room and I'll be called for X-ray ultrasound. Got called for that and lady checked my left breast and arm pit then stopped and said mammogram! I'm 36 never had one and that hurt and felt like my golf ball size lump now felt like a large balloon. ThEn went back to ultrasound room and said biopsy and drained it felt so much better. But then got told to dress and go back to waiting room where doctor will speak to u. Doctor said it's seems like a infection and since we drained it I won't prescribe u anti biotic . So when I got home I started feeling cold in this heatwave and noticed where I got a needle local anaesthetic and then two more injection where one was sample and other was drainage it's tender and feel a lump and red ness which I never had before all around my breast. Is this normal??? I'm now on antibiotics well started it today.
