Lump under flesh in labia majora

Hello folks,

I'm one of those people who suffers with health anxiety and every medical issue that appears feels like the end of the world. I was hoping there might be someone else in here that's had the same experience as me!

I have a lump in my labia majora, it is not at all visible to the eye and you have to press on the flesh to be able to feel it. It feels a bit bigger than a jelly bean and feels like it has a depression in the middle. It isn't painful, it's hard, and is only painful when I continue to press on it and push it around.

I thought it might be the sides of the rest of the clitoris but it is not close enough to be that, although it's roughly at the same height as the clitoris.

I'm quite worried about it as it has been there for months and potentially longer without me noticing, but I don't want to waste a GP's time if it's something everyone has and I'm just panicking for no reason. I am 21 years of age.

Many thanks to anyone who might be able to assist!

  • Hello moonNstars

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found a lump. It's understandable that you may be feeling anxious about this.

We'd encourage anyone who finds a new lump or has any health concerns to speak with their GP as they will be best placed to support you.

Hopefully the GP will be able to offer you some reassurance.

    Best wishes,
