advice please - should I take husband to my appt?

due to post menopausal bleeding i was placed on the 2 week pathway. I have had ultrasound scans which showed very slightly thickened lining, then a biopsy. "The results of the biopsy show some inactive tissue  from the lining of the womb and a couple of  areas of tissue of uncertain significance" so ive been called for a hysteroscopy next week.

im wondering whether they will tell me there and then if there is or isnt an issue, as Im trying to decide whetehr to take hubbie with me or not.  If its likley to be go away and wait for more results there is little point in dragging him along, but if they are going to give me a diagnosis he will probably want to come. Also i suppose the other question is, are folks allowed to accompany you to ppointments yet - i wasnt sure about that either.

thanks

  • They are allowing you to take someone with you , l would take my husband if there's anything too be explained as  he can hear what's happening. It's hard to remember everything that's said when you are stressed. Also you forget to ask what happens next!
Sometimes it's waiting for results from any biopsies that they have taken, or further scans ect.
    take care
