FNA

I felt a lump in my neck. I asked husband if he could feel it. He said no. I left it. 3 months later lump bigger. I asked husband can he feel it. He says yes. I ring GP. Told I could have telephone appointment in 2 weeks. Explain about lump to GP. Given appointment for 10 days later to see GP. She says she can feel 2 lumps. Refers me to ENT specialist. Wait another 3 weeks. He feels lumps orderse a scan and FNA. Another 3 weeks wait. Yesterday went to appointment. They did scan took images did not do FNA person doing scan could not explain why. Language issues but kept saying no, no, no. Now I am worried sick. Neck aches, occasional ear ache too. Do I need to go privately to get this FNA?
