Sorry I'm a bit all over the place I used the wrong terms. I had an appointment after a 2 week referral at the breast clinic of the hospital and they done a mammogram, Ultrasound and took a biopsy -- I have a large lump and lymph nodes swollen.
The radiologist referred me for a Pet scan which I had done 3 days later - I'm still waiting for results. I just assumed it was normal procedure but from reading it doesn't seem to be and it's made me panic more.
It's easy to panic as the wait and lack of information is nerve wrecking but just wait and see. Don't assume anything. We tend to always imagine the worst - not sure why but we do. Keep yourself busy in the mean time and let us know.
