Polyp?

Hi 

I have been having the following symptoms;

Very heavy periods that go on for about 2 weeks.

A watery discharge 

Bloating

Dizzy spells 

Fatigue 

On Saturday I had a 2nd ultrasound as first one about 6mths ago couldn't see anything as I hadn't drunk enough water. This latest one was internal and she straight away said I had a polyp.

Today ( monday) I had a call from my gp saying she didn't like the look and symptoms and has referred me for an urgent gynaecology appointment, within which weeks. 

I have 2 kids 8 and 11yrs old and I am absolutely pooping myself. 

I havent felt right for a while and recently discovered I am anemic. Any advice or support please

    I'm sorry about the polyp that was found on your scan and for the worry this and your referral is causing.

    I hope this information we have about urgent referrals will help to put your mind at ease slightly but hopefully some of our members who have had a polyp or contended with similar symptoms will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

    Waiting for apopintments and results is always difficult but I hope some of the tips given in this article will help keep your nerves at bay whilst you wait.
