Hi there, I've had a few. Most have been straightforward but have found two now. One is ok and one they couldn't tell from us what it is so MRI. Also had womb biopsy as found growth there. It sounds like you might have further tests like me. I've not seen specialist first, just tests organised so guessing they want to collate everything.

It sounds similar in that they need to refer on. Fingers crossed for you.

You may have a complex solid cyst l had complex cysts  last year they seem to need further tests like MRI  or  Ct.   I also had a trans vaginal ultrasound before my surgery. The results were benign l hope you have the same outcome.

If it helps my next step (womb biopsy) was on my 14th day of the 2ww. My MRI though had been forgotten and I had to chase. That's put me back as it needed a new request from the dr on a separate 2ww. That's been done on a week and a half into the second 2ww. So there is still time. 
 

I understand about the stress. I'm now 3 1/2 weeks into it because of the MRI delay. Now another week to go for the MDT meeting. It's awful. I'm trying to keep busy but my mind keeps going back. The only thing I think is good is they said they would ring me Tuesday afternoon and I assume they wouldn't give bad news over the phone.

Stay strong. I've had a number of cysts and honestly all benign so I'm thinking this is the same but is presenting as a complex mass. Here if you want to chat. 

It's ridiculous. I chased my appointment today. My referral had been sat on the consultants desk for 1 week!! I have been given a date now of the 22nd June. If I hadn't chased it would have been later.

Yes, it's really difficult isn't it? I'm keeping busy in the day but I'm finding it's at night I'm waking up and overthinking.  It seems like it's just a waiting game.

I don't know what time they will call me Tuesday. They just said afternoon but I won't be moving from the phone. I think we both deserve cake!
