I was anxious about the procedure and went for sedation. I'm happy to say it went really well - had some discomfort but only briefly and was able to see the procedure on the screen. The hospital staff were lovely and completely put me at ease. Thankfully nothing serious found. I was a little sleepy afterwards and left to lie down for about half an hour, and slept for about 3 hours when we got home. It's now 12 hours later and feeling absolutely fine, just a very slight headache. The sedation didn't leave me feeling dizzy or nauseous, and no after effects at all.
