I have had a few late periods in the last few months. I did ring my doctor and asked for a smear but he brushed it off and said it wasn't irregular unless I'd had it 3 times and I wasn't yet due for a test. Last month I was 10 days late but had light bleeding in the middle of my cycle with some light cramping. Yesterday I had the same again. Light bleeding with watery discharge. I know you shouldn't but I have been on Google and I am scaring myself into thinking I have cervical cancer. I did get a letter a couple of weeks ago to say I was due a smear test and I am going to book one tomorrow when my gp is open. Has anyone else had these sort of symptoms? TIA x
