Breast Clinic results appointment changed. Bad news?

Hi

I got mastectomy last Monday and I was suppose to get results at 1.30pm on Thursday 9th June.  Clinic has just rang and said that my appointment has been changed to 9am on Friday 10th June.  I am sick with worry and even moreso now that I have to wait an extra day.  They didn't say why my appointment was changed and just asked if I could come in on the Friday morning.  I said what time.  She what time would suit.  I said 9am.  It's just a bit weird to ring and ask me what time.  Do you think this means that I am going to be given bad news as its the 1st appointment of the day and the Clinic should be quite.  Maybe my minds just overthinking.  Any comments/thoughts would be more than welcome

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had a mastectomy. I hope that your recovery is going well and that you're taking the opportunity to rest when you can. 

    It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about why your results appointment has been delayed by a day. There could be many simple reasons for this so try not to overthink things too much. Concentrate on your recovery from the surgery and try to enjoy the long bank holiday weekend if you can. Friday will come around quite quickly.
