Hi,
So I don't really know if I should post on here. I just feel very confused and worried at the moment.
I have had a couple of suspicious looking moles for a while now but have buried my head in the sand about them, I was healthy, youngish and no symptoms other then the changing/bleeding moles so surely it couldn't be bad. Then around 6 months ago I started feeling poorly, not really ill, but I'd feel nauseous or have a headache, or feel achey, itchy skin (but it's not dry) and very heavy periods just genuinely not feel well. Again I decided to try and cope on my own. For the last 6 weeks I've had no appetite and have lost weight.
I decided to go to the doctors, told them how I was feeling and showed them the moles.
They referred me for skin biopsies on the moles and for a full blood count.
My full blood count came back clear but at the appointment on Friday she asked to take more bloods, 3 different ones, one being ca125 (I think, so much information that I I got overloaded). She did an abdomen examination And has referred me for urgent tummy and pelvis scans aswell as a smear and swabs. She mentioned my pancreas too but was very vague on what she said. I did a urine sample while I was there, it was very dark, as it has been for a few weeks now.
Today they phoned and said the urine sample was showing I was dehydrated and they've sent it for further tests and that one of the blood tests came back and showed that my kidney was low? But she didn't explain the rest.
As you can imagine my mind is going into overdrive as they've mentioned they are looking for cells and tumour markers (again I dont think I took everything in).
I just feel like everytime I speak to someone they say something else needs to be looked into.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I don't have anyone else to turn to currently, it's just me and my children.
Sorry for rambling on.
thank you for any replies
