Time of day, a week, 2 weeks, a phone call, in person etc have no bearing on the news given. The hospitals are busy, as they were before covid too, so don't go reading too much into the date and time of your appointment. People cancel too, and appointments being gold dust, others get shoehorned into fast appointments, or appointments with this timeframe or that timeframe.

I know it's human nature to overanalyse absolutely everything during the waiting stage, we all do it, but there is no rhyme or reason to any of it. We also overanalyse single words in letters or what we heard in the phone call.

This forum is absolutely littered with people getting both good and bad news regardless of when the appointment is scheduled. No one can tell you anything other than those treating you. Might not be the answer you're looking for, but it is the reality i'm afraid.
