Hi I'm new to this forum but have been reading a lot of posts recently. I'm wondering if anyone has had any of these symptoms as I'm goin mad googling everyday. 
I started with a mild sore throat about 5 weeks ago and my ear felt full, but when I yawned my ear was fine again. The sore throat was only mild and not constant maybe 2-3 times a day. I looked this up and most websites was saying things should clear up in 2-4 weeks. About 2 weeks ago my tongue started to sting on the end and looks very choppy with red sores on both sides and the middle. I've had a phone consultation with the doctor and I'm booked in on Friday to see him face to face. Any advice on similar symptoms would be great.
