Afternoon all . Bit of a long story . I'm in early menopause and I hrt . I have had vaginal  bleeding and discharge on and off since last October , have pelvic pain . The bleeding got that severe during Dec that I had two blood transfusions . I had a scan that showed my womb linning was double the thickness ,I had a hysteroscopy in Jan which was all good and there was nothing found that would cause the bleeding , which confused me as the scan said there was .I'm on the waiting list for complete hysterectomy, I have been on it already 6 months with another 12 months to go .I have just had my cervical screening , the nurse commented to why I hadn't had one before when the bleeding first started . Now I am worried that there may be cervical cancer that what is causing the bleeding . I've already complained to pals about my treatment from my gynea when I was in hospital having the blood transfusion. Non of the medication has worked to stopped the bleeding . I really don't know where else to turn . I'm so scared incase they have missed anything wrong with the cervix . Would cervical cancer show up on a ultrasound scan ?
