Long story short, took him to the gp as he had been complaining of stomach ache and feeling sick after eating. The gp referred him to the hospital for blood tests. The next day the gp phoned me to tell me his white blood cell count was low and that the hospital want to do another blood test in 4 weeks. They told me that the results for his blood film hadn't come back yet. He had the blood film test on Thursday, and no phone call yet so I thought maybe no news is good news but I've been worried out of my mind so I phoned my gp this morning to see if it had come back and the receptionist told me that a hematologist would phone me regarding that. I'm still hoping no news is good news but not sure why if that test was normal I'd be waiting for a phone call off a hematologist. Any help/advise would be appreciated thank you:happy:
