Small but persistent swollen lymph nodes in neck

Hi,

I am 20 years old (female) and have been struggling with swollen lymph nodes for months!
I can feel small pea-bean sized lymph nodes on both sides of my collar bone, left side of my neck and my right jawline.
it has caused me extreme anxiety and I've had blood tests and two ultrasounds done which have come back as normal! The doctors say my neck is lean which they think is making them feel more prominent but everything I'm reading online seems to say you shouldn't feel them normally! I think my main questions are:

1) can you feel healthy lymph nodes

2) should I be satisfied with my results and go on as normal considering I can still feel so many lymph nodes

I would appreciate any advice or opinions!
many thanks,

  • It's good to hear the results of the tests you've had have all brought good news FrazzzleDazzzle although I'm sorry about the lingering doubt and worry you have playing on your mind.

Swollen lymph nodes are quite a common talking point on the fourm so I'm sure some of our members who have been in a similar situation will be along soon to offer their thoughts and advice.

In the meantime, I hope this information we have on getting a second opinion will help but if you'd like to discuss your situation with one of our nurses, they're just a phone call away on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday (except bank holidays) between 9a.m - 5p.m.
