three weeks post op after lumpectomy and the breast is swollen hot and very painful started a few days ago been given antibiotics. Has anyone had similar problem?
I had a lumpectomy some years ago and suffered similar problem. While in hospital a nurse removed the drain from my wound too soon and I then had a build up of fluid
in my breast .... painful and very hot. Antibiotics were prescribed and that solved the problem. Hope very much you have the same outcome and are soon on the mend. thinking of you.
