Hi, I have alwsy had IBS but recently every few days blood has been in my stool for the last month, as well as cramping and gas. The doctor did a rectal examination and it came back clear. So having an endoscopy which I am dreading more than the result itself.

I don't know what to expect and trying to self diagnose myself hasn't helped my fears. I've lost my mum and an uncle to cancer as well.

Fingers crossed, I don't really know what to say I am just worrying.
