Pml Physiological Measurements

I've been referred for ultrasound due to pelvic pain and bloating. Today I got a text from PML - Physiological Measurements - saying they've received my referral and if I wanted to discuss the referral contact them through phone/email

It looks like they do ultrasound in community settings - e.g

GP surgeries.

Has anyone had their scan through this service? I'm not clear if I wait to be contacted or if I'm supposed to phone them to arrange an appointment.

  • Hopefully some of our members who have had appointments through PML will share their experiences and advice with you soon Applebee, but in the meantime, I don't think there's any harm in getting in touch with them to find out how the process works so do give them a call and see what they say.

I hope you're able to get more clarity on this soon and it won't be long until you have your appointment.

    Kind regards,

  • Thanks. After reading some reviews online - a couple mentioned that you have to contact them or they discharge you. So I've phoned and got an appointment booked.

The text was not at all clear so in case anyone else reads this and is wondering what to do - contact them!
