Hi after having a biopsy on breast lump I have been told that my results will be reviewed by medical board. Is this a sign that they have found something?

Hi Claire and welcome to Cancer Chat.
I know this must have been scary to hear but most patients results are discussed at something called a Multi Disciplinary Team Meeting. This is where a group of professionals from one or more clinical disciplines come together to discuss a patient's case based on the information that has been gathered e.g. test results, and if necessary, make decisions about recommended treatment and care plans.
I hope this helps to put your mind at ease but if you'd prefer to discuss this with one of our cancer nurses, they're just a phone call away on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
I hope you don't have to wait too long for your results and good news comes your way.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
