I'd either book a GP appointment, if anything for reassurance. Or you could see a pharmacist, and see what they think? I always think these things are much better getting checked out sooner rather than later.
My husband has one too, on his fingernail. He's been to the Dr about it a few years ago, and nothing came of it. However, he's going to book an appointment again as it's still there, and to be sure.
He's mixed white, black carribean. And the colour of the stripe is a brown colour.
