Symptoms - collar bone pain, swollen lymph node etc.

Hello,

I am looking for some advice / answers. I have called my GP and still waiting for them to get back to me, haven't even managed to discuss my symptoms with a doctor yet.

about 2 months ago I started getting pain in my right collar bone, only at night, and it would be a bit sore in the morning and ware off. The last 2 weeks the pain actually wakes me at night sometimes and I can't sleep in certain positions and it hurts on and off during the day, it's not unbearable pain but it's not nice.

I noticed this week that my lymph nodes in my throat are swollen, and I've had neck pain also right sided and stiffness. The whole right side of my throat / neck / collar bone feels uncomfortable.

I have had a couple of dizzy spells, extremely fatigue and then today I have a few really tiny pin *** blood spots on my right arm.

When I couldn't get a response from the GP I turned to Google which always sais the worst, but just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar and could give me their story / outcome please?

TIA

Mrs Mac

  • Those tiny red blood spots are called "Petechiae". The cause of them are many, and not usually cancer related at all.

Your capillary veins are leaking, hence why those spots are appearing. Lifting heavy objects, banging your arm, medication and other equally benign things can cause that to happen. It's always good to get it checked out.
