I have always had lumpy  breasts, but in 2019 they settled and both became really light. I had on and off issues with my left breast which I have posted here about, and all is ok with that.

I have not had pain before my periods for a good couple of years now also. Then midcycle this week my right breast has doubled in size, is engorged and heavy and the pain is crazy, to top it off it is giving off quite a bit of heat, mostly from the nipple.  I am not pregnant and not breast feeding. So Inflammatory Breast Cancer is the only thing I can think of, unless Fibrocystic breast disease or lumpy boobs can be hot? It is a good three to four degrees hotter (I used the kitchen food thermometer which is crazy but I  thought maybe im being silly, but im not.

I rang the breast clinc yesterday and I now have an appointment on Monday so I know it is not long to wait but im terrified and so anxious, so can a hot swollen heavy boob oh and occasiaoonly itchy nipple be something else? I am so scared reading the rate of spread in IBC.
