So 7 weeks ago I had a mole removed . Was told will take 3 weeks for results . At 4 weeks I rang the dermatologist department to be told the results are not back and could take 6 weeks . However she did say ring nxt week and I'll check again . At 5 weeks was told they are back and I will be wrote to with the outcome . 7 weeks still no letter . I have rang again and now being told they are waiting on a secondary report "out of trust" . Lady couldn't elaborate on what this means . In my heart of mind I'm now worrying it's the worst outcome as if it was clearly nothing I would hear by now . There is a strong history of melanoma in the family (mother , mums brother and Nan ). 
 

what would the secondary report be ?? A treatment plan ? A second opinion ? 
 

The wait is killing me with anxiety . Any advice would be great . Thank you
