Extremely worried my boyfriend has Limphoma

I am extremely worried my boyfriend has Limphoma.

A few weeks ago I felt a hard lump on the back of his neck just above his hairline. The lump is hard, non-painful and non-moving. He does not know how long it has been there.

I am very concerned this may be Limphoma. He is going to book a doctors appointment next week but I feel like I am loosing my mind worrying that he may have cancer. He does not have any other symptoms yet but I cannot help but think the worst!

Has anyone else experienced their partner/family member go through a similar thing? I am really struggling to cope and I am worrying so much - it is affecting my sleep and my work. Does anyone have any tips on how to get through this?

I am so worried about him I am struggling to function. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm sorry to hear that your boyfriend has recently found a lump. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about what this may be.

We would always recommend that anyone who finds a lump or has concerns about their health speak with their GP in the first instance as they will be best placed to arrange any appropriate appointments and/or tests.

The majority of lumps and bumps aren't serious health issues but it is important to get them checked. Try to remain positive and hopefully your boyfriend's GP will be able to offer him some reassurance at his appointment.

    Best wishes,
