Nipple lump

Hi

I hope no one minds me posting i havnt had an appointment yet but my problem is i felt a lump just under my nipple a while ago it feels quite hard is painful if i knock it and i had already decided i need to see my gp after easter however today my nipple is bleeding which has scared me even more im 55 and just before christmas i lost my dad to cancer so maybe im just being more anxious but any advice woukd be very welcome

    You need a doctors appointment to get it checked. Not all lumps are cancerous l have breast duct problems and have had them for 40 years. I see the breast team when I need to lve had lots of surgery to the duct extasia as they can flare up. But fortunately not a cancerous condition l hope you have a similar experience and all is ok.
