Abnormal mucosa - has anyone else had/experienced this?

hi I'm new here and have joined as worried about an OGD and colonoscopy I had recently. 

I had some polyps removed which did not look concerning. However they found what they have called 

'Ill-defined abnormal mucosa at my junction GOJ'

Im so worried as not had results yet and it would of been 4 weeks tomorrow since procedure. The receptionist  spoke to me today and said the doctor will be writing to me soon.

Has any one else experienced this.

  • Welcome to the forum Clairemummy4 although I'm sorry about what was found during your examinations and for the worry this is understandably causing.

    Waiting for results is always really difficult but it's good to hear the doctor will be getting in touch with you soon. I know until then this time of uncertainty will be very challenging but I hope some of the tips and advice given in this article will help.

    Fingers crossed this abnormal mucosa isn't anything sinister.
